STUDY ABROAD PROGRAM IN SANTO DOMINGO
The IERC also offers summer Pre-College study abroad courses sponsored by US public high schools in partnership with U.S. universities. These dual enrollment courses take place on the campus of universities in Santo Domingo. Through this program, which began in the summer of 2001, underserved US high school students are registered for study abroad courses in Santo Domingo by accredited US colleges. Upon successful completion of the course, the students receive college credit towards an undergraduate degree. The credits could be applied toward a degree program at the college through which they registered or transferred to the college where they are admitted after graduation from high school on an official transcript from the school of record in the US.

This summer tour the island and cities of the Dominican Republic through one of our summer 2010 sessions. We have a few options and more coming to fit your needs. Three sessions of 14 days; 6 weeks and 16 weeks all include Island cultural tours, and courses in culture and Spanish language.
